Description

St Patrick’s Mental Health Services’ annual Founder’s Day conference, in collaboration with Bodywhys, will explore eating disorders in a modern society. The conference will focus on research, online and societal factors, diet and treatments.

The conference has been approved with 6 CPD credits from the ICGP and 1 GMS study leave.
PSI members attending this event will earn 4 Credits.

Bringing together top experts and practitioners, Prof Janet Treasure, Director of Psychiatry at King’s College London will deliver the plenary lecture. Other conference speakers include:

Founder’s day celebrates excellence in clinical practice in mental health. Each year the conference brings together academics, clinicians, members of the multidisciplinary team and service users and is a major event in the Irish CPD calendar with accreditation from both the Irish College of General Practitioners and the Psychological Society of Ireland.

The conference takes place on November 30th at St Patrick’s University Hospital and is being held in collaboration with Bodywhys, the national voluntary organisation supporting people affected by eating disorders. Registration is from 8.15am.
