Balto kayak club is 10 years young this may in 2022. We have risen and become a really strong club that has paddlers competing at National level, representing Ireland. Our ethos is committed to inclusivity, equality with a sheer passion for fun & development.

We hold open days each year for people to take a day out and have some serious fun on the river and get to experience the joy of kayaking and stand-up paddleboarding.

This year is our anniversary so it will be bigger than ever

Book in for the day for those that will participate on the river, we have a full fleet of modern equipment and provide sessions with instructors that are fully trained along with remote first aid, child safeguarding, and Garda vetting.

This day is completely free and we extend this day out to all from Baltinglass and the surrounding areas
