Description
The Borris Festival of Writing & Ideas opens on Friday 7th June with a late afternoon programme which runs into the night.
Our first two events takes place at 4pm.
Speakers on the Friday include historian Simon Schama, Naomi Wolf, Williams Dalrymple, Lynn Enright, Jennifer Forde and Sam Bungey of the West Cork Podcast, Lara Marlowe, Philippe Sands, Fintan O'Toole, Ben Anderson, Lindsay Hilsum, Martin Amis, Carl Bernstein, Ed Vulliamy, Julian Barnes, Sarah Perry, Nicole Flattery, Kit de Waal, Andy Middleton, Christina Lamb, Glamrou, Panti Bliss, Misha Glenny, Donal Ryan and Melatu Uche Ochorie.... and a surprise or two. After dark, Lisa O'Neill in concert....
This tickets entitles the bearer (not transferable) to see absolutely anything that is on, in any of the venues. If you want to be sure of a seat, please be at the talk early. We try to accomodate every person on a seat, but some talks catch us by surprise so we have to forewarn you!
