How to manage two of the biggest challenges to face the profession        (3hr CPD)

Relate Software in conjunction with John McCarthy Consulting and Revenue is holding a series of half day seminars on FRS102 & iXBRL:

John McCarthy will give a detailed explanation of FRS102 and discuss the impact on statutory accounts production. John has been working with the new standards since the beginning and is consulting to firms on the impact.

Laurence Pyzer from Relate will display the first sample proforma set of accounts prepared under FRS102. A full sample set of accounts in the new layout will be provided which will greatly help firms prepare accounts under the new regime. Laurence will explain how to post the transitional transaction arrangements need to be processed.


Pat Mulhall from the iXBRL section of ROS will give an update on how the go-live in October went for Large Case mandation. Pat will outline how the iXBRL gateway coped and explain the kind of issues encountered by filing agents and ROS themselves.

 

Laurence Pyzer was responsible for filing the first set of Irish iXBRL accounts ever filed in November 2012. Laurence has worked with hundreds of firms in preparing them for 2014 Phase 2 mandation. Laurence will explain the various options available to firms such as outsourcing, manual taggers as well as automated tagging solutions.
