Tucked away in the Dublin Mountains, on a quiet lane behind wooden gates you will enter a little haven of nature, peace and tranquillity. Mutton Lane Yoga Studio is a purpose-built studio with a stunning spacious deck. Completely separate from the houses sharing the property the studio has its own entrance, plenty of parking, a separate brand new spotlessly clean toilet and a small seating area.
Sylvia teaches yoga and meditation classes suitable for all levels. Every class is infused with mindfulness and appreciation of the beautiful surroundings. Emphasis on releasing tension in the physical body. Breath-work and relaxation to quieten the mind. Full refunds are offered if events need to be cancelled due to rain. Mutton Lane has an indoor studio, available once restrictions allow indoor classes.
Arriving around 6.50pm you make your way to the deck or the studio for some mindful movement to soften tight muscles and bring your awareness to sensations in the body as a focus for the mind. As the body softens our attention will drop, dropping into the breath, into the body, into deeper awareness. The class will be varied to include movement, breath-awareness and periods of stillness. We’ll close with a deep guided relaxation and make our way back to life in candle light and torch light.
