About this event
This workshop will explore many of the essential aspects of being self-aware, vigilant of ourselves and reflective, when doing Relational Practice.
The workshop will allow conversation and discussion on the following concepts and offer some hints:
- Biases,
- Obstacles to being ‘present’,
- Reflective practice processes,
- Reflexive practice, and
- How we might use some of the learning in our work.
At the end of this workshop the participant will be able to:
- List the cognitive and prejudicial biases necessary to be vigilant of self,
- Outline 6 obstacles to ‘being present’,
- Describe the processes involved in Reflecting Before and After Action,
- Differentiate between Reflective and Reflexive practice,
- Outline a plan to incorporate the learning from this workshop into practice.
