Funding & Cashflow Management - 6 months into the Pandemic
Event Information
About this Event
In April, we hosted a webinar with Derek Lowry focused on Funding & Cashflow at the very start of the Covid19 crisis. Derek offered key insights into planning and funding options and Niall McEvoy from Enterprise Ireland explained the state supports for Startups and SMEs.
Six months later, much has changed - and much has stayed the same. Businesses still need to address the availability, effective use of and management of cash resources.
This webinar will provide guidance and proactive strategies on how to measure the impact of the crisis on your business and cashflows to date, how to develop a cashflow strategy to transition your business through this current phase and plan for 2021. We will look at what’s available in terms of funding now and how to apply for it, and also address the difficult decision around viability and what steps to take if the business isn’t viable any more and what options are available.
Derek Lowry is a Chartered Director, Qualified Financial Advisor (QFA) and holds a Diploma in Corporate Finance from Chartered Accountants Ireland. He works with business owners across all sectors on a daily basis to help them achieve their objectives and to provide additional support to their businesses in the area of Funding/Finance and Corporate Governance. He has been developing action plans to help with the challenges his clients face from the current Covid-19 crisis.
We will also be joined by Teri Smith, Manager in the HPSU unit, Enterprise Ireland, who will give insight into the impact of the current crisis on Irish startups and what supports Enterprise Ireland can offer their clients.
