The Future Makers Awards 2021 will take place online at 6pm on Wednesday, 19th January. About the Future Makers Awards & Supports programme

Design & Crafts Council Ireland's Future Makers Awards & Supports programme supports students and emerging designers and makers. The programme assists at a crucial early point in their design and craft career. It is one of the largest prize-funded design and craft award programmes in Europe. Divided into student and emerging practitioner categories, it covers a broad range of disciplines. The total prize fund for Future Makers 2021 is €25,000. Future Makers is the qualifying competition for the annual RDS Craft Awards, which provides 5 x €10,000 awards to makers at a formative stage in their careers.
