About this event

Take a walking tour of the dark side of Galway City with experienced regional guide and member of Approved Tourist Guides of Ireland, Marteen Lane.  Hear stories of hangings, executions, murders, and much more.

Tour Hightlights:

  • Lynch's Memorial Window
  • Galway Cathedral
  • Gallows in Eyre Square

Tour takes place at 4pm Irish Time, meeting at the Browne Doorway in Eyre Square. Booking in advance is essential.

Due to the sensitive nature of some of the stories parental discretion is advised for children 12 years and under.
