GAP SOFT SKILLS IN PEACEKEEPING SUMMIT

Description
The conference will run over two days and is designed to bring academic, practitioner and game learning and game design participants together to develop further work in the area of training in soft skills through rigorous academic research and serious games. There are three themes running through the conference: Training Peacekeepers/Game Simulation and Assessment/Benefits and Challenges: Gender & Cultural Awareness Training.
We have worked closely with peacekeepers at every stage. The conference will include events to honour peacekeepers and a keynote speaker is Michael Beary, an Irish Army Major general and former Head of Mission and Force Commander of the United Nations Interim Force in Lebanon (UNIFIL), who will also host a reception on Thursday night.

Susan Pond, Building Integrity Programme, NATO
