Garda Vetting has become a hot topic over the last number of years as more and more groups implement Garda vetting as part of their volunteer and staff screening process.

This workshop will address some of the issues related to Garda vetting - particularly looking at the myths and realities

Who should attend this workshop?

  • Groups from the Dublin City North area who are either already availing of the Garda Vetting Service of the Dublin City North Volunteer Centre or about to commence the service with ourselves.
  • Groups who are interested in looking at Garda Vetting going forward as a screening tool. 
  • Groups who are already vetting their volunteers / employees but have some questions about the service. 
  • Groups wishing to know more about the new Garda Vetting Legislation that came into effect on 1 March 2013. 

Places are strictly limited, this is a ticketed event and entry will be only to those who have registered.
