On the 11th of June the Rediscovery Centre will be hosting our first Gardening Day. This event will help you make the most out of your garden no matter what your gardening experience.

Gardening:

Audrey Rutherford and her team will help you discover the joy of gardening and show you how to make the most out of your garden. On the day there will be lots of activities including:

- Balcony Gardening

- Seed and Plant Swap

- Ask the Expert

- Composting

- No dig garden

Also on the day we will be showcasing Sustainable Food. The Rediscovery Centres' Education team will be on-hand to offer some sage advice on how best to prevent and deal with food waste, including showing you that there’s nothing scrappy about food scraps, from which you can regrow your own fruits and vegetables!

There’s no one trick peonies on this team, as the team will also dig in to the science of growing your own, getting down and dirty with the mysteries of soil, and examining the unbeleafable science of growing!
