GDPR workshop with Dottir Attorneys & Detectify

GDPR (General Data Protection Regulation)'s 2018 deadline is approaching and all companies must be compliant to not incour in any fine.

Join us in this free of charge workshop with Sara Tuomala, Counsel at Dottir Attorneys and Carl Svantesson, CMO at Detectify, to discuss what GDPR is about and what steps a company needs to take to remain in compliance with the new regulation.

First keynote: The legal side of GDPR

GDPR entered into force on April 27th, 2016 and it will apply from May 25th, 2018. It will be directly applicable in all EU Member States and will leave room for additional national legislations.

We will be discussing information obligations under GDPR as well as how to get ready, what needs to be taken into account and what to do in practice.

When GDPR comes into force, the security measures to protect your customer data need to be in place. In Article 32, GDPR requires that "controller and the processor shall implement appropriate technical and organizational measures to ensure a level of security appropriate to the risk".

In this session, Detectify will give you actionable tips on how to build more secure web applications. We will also guide you through the white hat and balck hat-hacker community and share our most interesting findings when hacking some of the world's largest tech brands.
