Meet The Buyer Workshop, with Follow Up One to One Advice Clinics

1 x Morning Workshop followed by 40 min one to ones, if requested (21st /22nd June)

This workshop is to prepare attendees for the Mayo Food & Drink Showcase and Meet The Buyer event on 23rd June 2022.

At the end of the workshop participants:

- should know what they need to do to maximise the opportunity of this event.

- participants will then be invited to meet one to one with the trainer to review and optimise their event plans.

Topics covered will include:

- Speaking the buyer’s language retail versus food service

- Understanding the buyer’s logistics and buying processes

- Capacity readiness

- Articulating your value proposition

Practical preparation for the event

- An introduction to the Irish multiple retail landscape.

- How and when multiple retailers buy from small Irish producers

- Understanding the buyer’s logistics and buying processes and how they differ across retailers.

This workshop will be facilitated by Aisling Roche, who together with her husband, own and run a very successful Mayo Food Business from their farm, Velvet Cloud. Aisling is also Director of ARMS Marketing.
