Restorative Practice (RP) is both a mindset and a practical approach that supports the development of strong, respectful relationships and provides simple, emotionally intelligent methods for resolving conflict.
This training is designed to help participants build and maintain healthy relationships in families, schools, workplaces, and communities by:
- Actively fostering positive relationships
- Preventing conflict from escalating
- Repairing harm caused by wrongdoing
Since 2010, the Childhood Development Initiative (CDI) has been delivering a successful Restorative Practices Programme in Tallaght West. In 2026, CDI is pleased to offer this foundational RP training course.
When you have done this short course, you will be able to:
- Use Restorative Language: Learn a way of communicating that promotes empathy, mutual understanding, and connection—helping to build and maintain strong relationships while preventing unnecessary conflict.
- Have Restorative Conversations: Gain the skills to address issues constructively when you or someone else feels let down—resolving problems in a way that preserves and strengthens relationships.
