Cara’s Inaugural Go All Out inclusive outdoors week from July 18th to 24th 2022 is set to inspire people with disabilities and professionals working in the outdoor sector to understand the value and to see the opportunities that are available to them in their local communities. The week is also an opportunity for people with disabilities to understand the value of participation in the outdoors and how they can access the activities and amenities locally.
The 1 hour 30 minute cruise around Lough Ree will provide passengers with breath-taking views of it’s mythical islands. During the course of the voyage, you will experience the wilderness and beauty that is Lough Ree.

The boat is stable and if you are a wheelchair user, you will be secured by ratchet straps for your safety and piece of mind.
People with disabilities have the same needs for recreation and leisure as people without disabilities; however, they sometimes access more structured leisure activities within disability organisations and service providers, thereby reinforcing their segregation from community and friends on occasions.
The core principle of the Lough Ree Access For All boat and lake centre is to eliminate this segregation in so far as is humanly possible.
