Description
We will walk beautiful Dublin streets and visit curious 1700's sites. Transport was slow and wit was quick! Dublin was a hotbed of intrigue and the Second most important in the old British Empire. Yet it was difficult to find the action with censorship.
Coffee Houses were where the news was printed! Known as penny universities, centres of commerce and trade where so much of Dublin life was lived.
We will stroll for an hour stopping at significant points where duels were fought, merchants traded, information was exchanged and coffee was drunk. Was there tea & chocolate? We will immerse ourselves in the characters such as Johnathon Swift and how he got into hot water with a Queen.
This is an original experience, you discover how life was lived in the Coffee Houses of Dublin and then taste the coffee they drank!
