Making your research available in Open formats is becoming increasingly important and the development of Open Research is changing scholarly publishing.

Want to learn more about developments in Open Research and the benefits of open publication? Join us for a lunchtime learning session in Dr Steevens on February 8th.

Speakers

Laura Rooney Ferris - Systems Librarian / Lenus repository manager HSE Library will talk about developments in Open Access publishing and making your research open through the Lenus repository

Shane Knox - Assistant Chief Ambulance Officer, Education Manager, National Ambulance Service College and Editorial board member for Irish Journal of Paramedicine. Shane will talk about the Irish Journal of Paramedicine, a fully Open Access journal and the benefits of publishing in an open publication.

This session is free and is open to HSE staff and health researchers.
