This online training will give practical advise to on how Childhood Illness Organisations can make a high quality grant applications. It will cover:

• Understanding which grants to go for

• How to understand what the funders are looking for

• How to plan and write high quality responses

• How to bring your team in to support the process.

Who should attend

All organisations involved in supporting sick children and/or their families are welcome to attend.

Trainer

We are delighted to announce that Peter Sharpe will be facilitating this training.

Peter has over 13 years experience in bid writing and bid training. This has spanned the public, private and third sectors in both the UK and Ireland. Peter is a long-time grants advisor to Volunteer Ireland (VI). He has helped VI secure Pobal funding from the Irish Government and has delivered training sessions on grant writing for VI's conference programme.

How to join

A Zoom link will be sent to participants who register on Eventbrite.

The training is free to join. It is organised by the Network of Childhood Illness Organisation, coordinated by Children in Hospital Ireland and funded by the Training Links programme administered by The Wheel.
