Kerry Recreation & Sports Partnership and Killarney CC are hosting a Group Cycle event for women in Killarney on Saturday 14th of May 2022.
About this event
Bike Week is a celebration and promotion of the benefits of cycling. This year, Bike Week will kick off on Saturday 14th May and will end on Sunday 22nd May.
A variety of events both on the ground and online will be held throughout Ireland.
As part of Bike Week 2022, Kerry Recreation & Sports Partnership in conjunction with Killarney Cycling Club are hosting a group cycle event for women in Killarney on Saturday 14th of May. The central aim of the event is to create awareness of the benefits of cycling and give those who don't currently cycle as part of a group, the opportunity to meet new people and exercise in a fun and social way.
This cycle event is aimed at beginner to intermediate female cyclists over the age of 18 years.
What to bring:
Note: all participants will need to bring their own:
- Bicycle
- Helmet
- Drink
- Working rear light
- Money for coffee if desired.

● Meet and assemble at the Credit Union Building at Beech Road Carpark in Killarney
● Route name: Killarney -Fossa -Beaufort - Killarney
● Route description: Mostly flat taking in the beautiful surrounds of Fossa and Beaufort
● Ride duration: 1 hour 30 mins approx
● Route distance: 26 km approx
● Depart at 9:00 am
● Cost: €5
