Come an join us for this challenging walk in the beautiful Mourne Mountains of Co. Down. Only 1hr 40mins drive from Dublin.
We will meet at Meelmore Lodge for 10am sharp. This route is tough going and is suitable for very active people who have a good baseline level of fitness, cardio and endurance. If you are an active hill walker, this will still be challenging enough. Slieve Donard in one of from the 4 Peak`s Challenging. The beautiful surrounding land will reward you with it`s rolling mole hills and beauty.
Start at Meelmore Lodge and make our way towards Slieve Meelmore, Slieve Bearnagh, Hares Gap, Slievenaglogh, Slieve Commedagh and finally Slieve Donard 849m. We will drop down towards the Brandy Pad, Hares Gap and make our way back along the Trassey River to Meelmore Lodge.
This walk is roughly 18 - 20 kms long for the meandering figure of 8. It is vital that you dress appropriately for a long quality mountain day in the hills. Good outer layers that are waterproof or even windproof, good hiking footwear. A day pack, which will carry water, flask, food, small first aid kit, personal medication if any. Also bring along an extra top, hat and gloves. The weather in the Mountains can change suddenly and sometimes we may have to change route.
Cost: 30 euro per person,40 euro including transport from Dublin, (8am pick up). If you require a lift, please get in contact beforehand.

All our instructors and guides are fully trained, insured, and hold outdoor first aid certs. We are recognised by Mountaineering Ireland and the Mountain Training Association of the U.K. We are also members of these two government bodies for the outdoors.
