Energise the body and calm the mind by bringing our awareness to the quality of the breathing - which is a support to meditation and a way to integrate meditation in our everyday activity.

In Kum Nye-Tibetan Yoga, as well as giving plenty of guidance on how to breathe in a balanced way, Tarthang Tulku also offers specific breathing exercises which we will study and practice in this series.

Matt has been practising meditation and Kum Nye (Tibetan yoga) since 1998 when he first landed at Dzogchen Beara Meditation Retreat Centre overlooking the Atlantic Ocean in south-west Ireland.

energise the body + calm the mind + attune with the world - Kum Nye consists of simple breathing & movement exercises – suitable for people of all ages and fitness levels – that calm the mind and relieve tension in the body. For newer people Kum Nye a gateway to meditation - you can do it! - for others a path to deepen their practice.

Matt began sharing the practice with groups in workshops and on retreats in 2019 and then Covid-19 happened and everything moved online ~~~~~
