Healing Touch & Sounds weekend

A weekend of sacred body work of Thai yoga massage and an immersion of healing sounds.

You will have the opportunity of seeing sequences been demonstrated, and then practicing (giving & receiving) with a partner, while having instructions and support by Nigel. You will also have the resource of a handbook with photos of sequences, which also allows you to write notes in it.

Thai yoga massage body work involves the use of static compression, body weight, alignment and dynamic movement in order to bring us back into balance and gives us a deeply nourishing treatment that activates the parasympathetic nervous system that can bring our receivers into a deep state of relaxation, the place where self-healing can happen.

We will have the opportunity of practicing techniques such as reciprocal tension, giving wait along the energy lines using our palms, feet and elbows . We will also be introduced to dynamic techniques along with basic osteopathic concepts.

Immerse yourself in the beautiful sounds of Tibetan singing bowls, gong, drum, chimes, human voice and other sound healing instruments that are healing for our bodies, minds and spirit. The healing sound bath will allow us to integrate the body work we received.

This workshop is designed for beginners and improvers. You will be confident to give a 1h sequence of Thai yoga massage afterwards. You also get a handbook with photos of the full sequences to keep.

• please wear comfortable, lose clothes like eg. yoga clothes, not jeans;)
• bring yoga mats/ futons, blanket, cushions, water bottle, pen, light lunch
