McAuley Place is proud to present nationally known quartet Highly Strung in concert this February 13th.
Highly Strung's music is an acoustic blend of classical, contemporary, traditional and anything in between. The combination of Harp, Flute, Violin and Voice together with their quirky arrangements make them a unique show, paired with the cabaret environment it proves to be a truly unique night out. Highly Strung have been performing annually at Castletown House Co. Kildare and Fota House Co. Cork.
They also have an annual Christmas Concert at The Riverbank Theater in Newbridge. They've played Powerscourt shopping centre, Sherkin Island; Inishbofin, St Brigid's Cathedral and the Baldonnel Aerodome.
The group has played for both President Higgins and McAleese. Now they're joining us for a cabaret evening with songs and medelies from your favourite movies
