Event description
Within the depths of Connemara, sheltered by the twelve bens, Binn Chaonaigh provides the perfect setting for a gentle healing experience.

About this Event

Hike To Heal is an effective way to reduce stress and anxiety, increase physical fitness and reconnect to nature, building a deeper understanding of rural Ireland and the ways of life in times gone by.

This year, group size will be kept to a maximum of 4 participants (5 including myself), to ensure that each person is supported deeply on their journey.

As we ascend, we contemplate and work through mental, emotional or energetic blocks which are preventing us from moving forward on projects, relationships, or having the clarity of direction we need. Each journey is personal, and sharing with the small group is optional.

As we reach the summit, we will take time to integrate the sense of overcoming our challenge and also take a moment to absorb the beauty of the land, the surroundings and the teachings we have encountered on our journey.

Our descent will involve contemplating new intentions and goals that you set for yourself to move forward with your projects, goals or situation you are facing, sending you on a journey with a fresh outlook on life and better equipped to handle whatever your situation is.

Binn Chaonaigh is a hidden gem in Co. Galway, part of the Maumturks range, was a place of Pilgrimage, both by Christians and in ancient times, by pagans during the Lughnasadh festivals. It boasts a holy well and stone circle, which were used for prayer in the stations of the cross. From there we will connect to the healing energy of this mountain and the beautiful natural mountainous surroundings.
