HomeBeat are delighted to announce the Dublin Launch of Ciaran Lavery's wonderful new album 'Let Bad In' in the stunning surrounds of The Freemason's Hall, with very special support from Carriages.
A native of Aghagallon in County Antrim, yet mining a deep musical seam of Americana, folk and roots, his debut album 'Not Nearly Dark' caused ripples in 2013, with its tender evocation of love, loss and redemption winning critical acclaim.
This success took Ciaran on a series of tours around the UK and Europe, which was further added to by the huge critical reception to his collaborative project with fellow Northern Irish musician Ryan Vail - ‘Sea Legs’.
The launch of his new album ‘Let Bad In’ see’s Ciaran arrive to Dublin on the back of performances at The Great Escape, South By South West and growing local and international acclaim, not to mention close to 20 million spotify plays for his track ‘Shame’.
Dublin duo, Harry Bookless & Aaron Page have been forging a warm hearted path in the local scene by combining gentle electronica with classic folk songwriting and adding found sound based atmospherics to create a wonderful blend of forward looking folk/synth music.
2016 has brought a new release ‘Like A Child’ which is soon to be followed up with more releases.
