Homebeat are delighted to welcome Gyda Valtysdottir - founding member of legendary Icelandic outfit mūm - as she presents her new Epicycle project - combining with two of her esteemed and favourite collaborators Shazad Ismaily on synths, and Julian Sartorius on drums, performing a lifting showcase of her spellbinding cello and vocal talents to point of focus.

Since mūm have taken a back seat, Valtysdottir has toured with the likes of Jonsi (Sigur Ros) and Damien Rice, before turning back to her own performances including a selection of reworked classical pieces alongside her own stunning compositions.
