A monthly webinar series exploring hot topics in dementia research from basic science, clinical and social research perspectives.

About this event

Dementia Research Network Ireland are hosting free monthly webinars on hot topics in dementia research. These webinars will provide an opportunity to hear from those working in basic science, clinical and social research as well as from people living with dementia and their families. Each one-hour webinar will include a Q&A with the audience.

Target Audience: Researchers, clinicians, health & social care practitioners, the public including people living with dementia/ neurodegeneration and their families.

Webinar 1: Mon 27th September 2021 (11-12pm) - Lewy Body Disorders: The Most Common Disease You’ve Never Heard Of

In this webinar, we will discuss :

  • Challenges in diagnosing Lewy Body Disorders
  • Current research in Lewy Body Disorders
  • What it's like to live with Lewy Body Dementia
  • Treatments and supports available
  • Launch of Lewy Body Ireland
