How to build a Leaky Dam

About this event
As part of the Inishowen Rivers Trust catchment scale project to install natural flood management measures in Clonmany, the Trust are offering volunteers the opportunity to learn how to install a boarded leaky dam.
Led by our construction team, Landowner Liaison Officer Mark Davenport and trustee Rosemary McCloskey, this workshop will show volunteers how to site and install the dam, how the dams work and give the volunteers the opportunity in build a number of dams on site.
Venue: a location for the work will be emailed to all registered participants by Friday 15th November. The site will be on the Ballyhallan River catchment.
What to bring: Wear suitable clothing and footwear. The Trust will provide the appropriate PPE.
Time: 11am to 1pm
