About the speakers
Hugh was not able to attend our last event and promised to give a talk this time.
Hugh runs the IBM’s largest Digital Sales Centre in the world, here in Dublin. He manages over 800 employees who come from across the globe selling and marketing various IBM products and services. Overall, he has over 30 years’ experience in the IT industry and in sales. He’s been at IBM for 16 years in various roles. Hugh is also a member of Plato Dublin, a confidential business support network for owner managers of SMEs funded by the Councils in the Dublin region. Together with several large multi-nationals it runs an 18-month program for start-ups providing education, advice and guidance on how to scale up your business. Hugh is also known to be a good Christmas carol singer!
Alison is a consultant, facilitator, and coach working with Irish and International organisations and teams to help them deliver results through people. She has extensive experience as a business development professional and as a learning and development consultant on IITD and ISA award winning programmes. Alison works across multiple sectors including information technology, pharmaceutical, digital media, financial services, legal and consulting sectors in Ireland, the UK, Europe, Asia, and the US. She is an accredited IBM Global Sales School facilitator and coach, MBTI™ and BarOn EQi™ practitioner. Also she is an accredited facilitator for Career Directions Workshop™ and experienced broadcaster having presented and produced programmes for 81.3 J-Wave, Tokyo's largest FM radio station, and co-presented a weekly programme on 103.2 Dublin City FM.
Ronald is a Subject Matter Specialist and Training Panel Member at Dublin and Dún Laoghaire Education and Training Board. Ronald designs and delivers training in Communications, Leadership and Management programs to middle and senior executives. He is actively involved in delivering Customer Service and Sales services to a variety of different organizations and companies. Over the course of last years he has
worked with Innovation Enterprise Network, Charity Radio and was a board member at Liffey Sound 96.4 FM. Currently he is actively involved in the education sector both adult and secondary.
