Description

How Young People Are Heard And Helped - What young people want adults who engage with them to know.

This is a half day event for adults who work with young people. The event has been organised and will be run by the Mayo Children and Young Persons Advisory Committee. The Child and Young Person`s Advisory Committee was established under the CYPSC Family Support Subgroup ( Children and Young Person`s Services Committee). The Child and Young Person`s Advisory Committee is a partnership between Foroige and Tusla.

There will be a panel of guest speakers on the day including Dr Niall Muldoon, Ombudsman for Children, Professor Patrick Dolan, NUI Galway, Chloe, a member of the Committee and a Young Person who has been engaged in both statutory and voluntary services.
