General Information:

Over the past 10 years the HRB has been delivering a long-term plan to build infrastructure and capacity that would support the conduct of clinical research and clinical trials in Ireland. During 2015, the final parts of this plan are coming together and Ireland is now in a position to promote excellence and critical mass, and improve coordination of clinical research across the system.

The aim of this event is to: -

• showcase the facilities and supports made available through HRB Clinical Research infrastructure
• illustrate the benefits that this infrastructure is having in relation to improving health and delivery of care
• raise awareness of how the supports we have created can attract large trials to Ireland
• create opportunities for networking between researchers, health professionals and industry.
