HSLG conference 2023:Time to reflect: managing our professional development

The HSLG conference will be held in the Ashling Hotel on Thursday 9 March 2023 from 9.15 to 16.00, followed by drinks reception for attendees.

The theme is Time to reflect: managing our professional development, and is intended for those studying or working in the library and information sector in Ireland.

This conference aims to provide practical advice on CPD management, and to enable a discussion about what organisations, including the HSLG, LAI and our employers, can do to enhance the scope, value and effectiveness of our professional development.

Please note: HSLG members have a specially reduced registration rate of €15. Members can also apply for the Bernard Barrett bursary which is a special award to enable members from across Ireland to attend the HSLG conference. Members may apply for funds to cover the registration fee and/or travel expenses (if travelling a significant distance by public transport). This is event is primarily intended for people based in Ireland who are studying or working in the library and information sector.
