This workshop aims to discuss the challenges and opportunities of using hydrogen as a zero-emission fuel to support sustainable communities.
About this event
This workshop aims to bring together stakeholders from Ireland and Northern Ireland to discuss opportunities and challenges for the deployment of hydrogen technologies in rural and peripheral regions. This includes green hydrogen production via excess wind, marine and/or solar energy, use in transportation, power-to-gas, energy storage and gas for industries, among others. In particular, we will focus on low-carbon solutions for public infrastructure and housing.
HUGE is a three-years INTERREG Northern Periphery and Arctic Programme which will bring solutions to communities that aim to become sustainable. In the workshop, we will present the three tools to be developed in HUGE (techno-economic, business model and training) and with the participation of stakeholders, find targeted solutions for the North and West coast of Ireland.
In order to participate, we recommend you to bring a tablet or laptop.
Please note: This event will be recorded for distribution through HUGE channels. All audience members agree to the possibility of appearing on these recordings by virtue of attending the event or participating in the event.
