HUMANAE: BEHIND THE PHOTOGRAPHS
Tue 25 October 2016, 18:30 – 19:30 IST
Angélica Dass will be giving a personal talk about race and stereotypes and why she began Humanae, a project in which thousands of people have been photographed and their skin tone matched to a Pantone® colour code illustrating the diversity of skin colours while highlighting the absurdity and inaccuracy of racial stereotypes. The talk will be followed by a Q and A.
As part of DESIGN AND VIOLENCE Angélica will be photographing Irish subjects for her project. If you want to be involved, click here.
