Humans of Balgaddy: Book Launch & Exhibition

Humans of Balgaddy is a photography project that tells the real stories of the people of Balgaddy, and is a remarkable collection of character studies and powerful stories from people in the community.

Peter Varga began Humans of Dublin in 2015 as a photo project, not knowing that the project would change the course of his life. Inspired by the success of similar projects internationally, he began to walk the streets of Dublin, interviewing and photographing those he met along the way, uncovering stories hiding in plain sight and posting his work online. The result is a collection of powerful stories and beautiful images that capture the vibrancy and diversity of Dublin life.
