Originally from Australia, Ian has been based in the local Clonmult area for the past ten years. He has appeared on more than 70 albums as either a sideman or leader and toured all over the world. In this concert Ian will play american jazz tunes from the early 20th century as well as more recent jazz tunes and original compositions, including the debut performance of "The Ambush". A solo work inspired by the "Clonmult Ambush" that took place 100 years ago.
