For this monthly event, we had the idea to reunite everyone around the Rat year, come to discover your best match !

Do you want to meet new people, make new friends and practice different languages? Then come along to this FREE meeting for both locals and internationals.

International Club Cork Language exchange event has been running since 2009 and remains one of the biggest exchanges in Cork city.

Want to practice English or other languages? Choose the "general" ticket type in the registration. Meet local and international people from all over the world for socialising and language exchange.

★ NEW LOCATION - Counihans (downstairs) ★ : This lively Authentic Irish Bar with it’s olde wooden charm has been serving drink to Corkonians and Visitors alike for over 200 years. It's located on Pembroke Street, right beside the General Post Office.

FAQ:

Is this event only for foreign nationals?
Our goal is to socialise, get to know other cultures and make new local and international friends so our events are open to all!

I'm coming alone and not sure how this event work :
Don't worry! The ICC Team will be there to welcome and introduce you to other people. There will be also some games and fun activities so you will feel right at home in no time.

What language(s) can I practice at the event?
In an average event we can have visitors from more than 25 countries; most people speak English but there will be also the opportunity to speak some Spanish, French, Italian, German, Portuguese and other languages. The possibilities are endless!

Can I bring my friends to the event?
Yes, invite whoever you like! Please make sure to tell them to register in advance to avoid disappointment as there are limited places for all of our events.

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
No, we have you covered! We will have the list of the registered attendees at our welcome desk so all you have to do is show up. Simply go to any of our volunteers, tell us your name and you'll get a sticky tag to write your name and country of origin.

I have registered but can no longer come :
We are sorry you cannot attend this time! Please inform ICC about the cancellation so that other people can take your place.

I tried to register, but the event seems to be full :
Our events tend to fill up fast so you'll be placed on a waiting list. As soon as places become available you will be notified.
