1st Joint Research Network Conference JRN

‘Nurturing the Development of Research and Clinical Audit to Enhance Women and Infants Health

Thursday 13th December 9am-4.30pm:

Lecture Theatre, National Maternity Hospital Education centre, 66-66 Lower Mount Street, Dublin 2

To celebrate over 10 years of collaborative research partnership, the Joint Research Network (NMH & UCD) are hosting an inaugural midwifery & nursing research and clinical audit conference. Recent midwifery and nursing research project findings and outputs from the group will be presented. In addition we are delighted to announce that Prof. Sarah Kenyon Institute of Applied Health Research University of Birmingham and Prof. Declan Devane NUI Galway, Director of the Health Research Board - Trials Methodology Research Network (HRB-TMRN), our key note speakers, will discuss developing clinical research and changing practice.

The conference is available to healthcare professionals and provides an opportunity to hear about recent research findings and to discuss the impact of research/evidence based findings for future midwifery/nursing practice in Ireland. Light Lunch will be provided. An expert panel discussion will follow the presentations. An opportunity and space for midwifery/nursing networking will be offered.
