About this event

On this Culture Night, and adhering to health guidelines to make sure this event is safe for everyone, the Embassy of Peru invites you to visit its premisses to view an exhibition on the Inca Garcilaso de la Vega, one of the very first illustrious Peruvian who earned his place in history through his indefatigable work to bring about a greater understanding and rapprochement between the European and the Indoamerican civilizations. Born in the Spanish Empire's Viceroyalty of Peru in 1539 to a Spanish conquistador and an Inca noblewoman, he is one of the most famous early mestizos in America. He was one of the most renowned chroniclers and writers of his time.

Before starting the tour of the exposition, the Embassy will offer a typical Peruvian refreshment (alcoholic or non-alcoholic) and as you leave, it will give away a small souvenir of Peru.
