Description
Hunger strikes/striking present a range of political, ethical, medical, physical, emotional and gendered problems. As such, they prove difficult to historicise and commemorate. Incarcerated Bodies is a symposium which provides an opportunity for academics (national and international), museum and gallery experts and key stakeholders to discuss issues relating to the incarcerated body and food refusal.
