Inclusive Cycling for children with a disability Mon 18th-Fri 22nd July
Week-long fun and safe Learn to Cycle programme for children with a disability to help them to learn to cycle independently.
About this event
Monaghan Sports Partnership is delighted to announce that we will be running a week long inclusive cycling programme for children with a disability aged 5-13 years.
The programme will run from Monday 18th July to Friday the 22nd July 2pm – 3pm each day and will take place on an outdoor enclosed area in Monaghan town. Venue to be confirmed.
This programme will be delivered by Bike Green who have extensive knowledge and experience of delivering cycling programmes to children with disabilities.
This programme will prove invaluable for the children taking part, providing a great source of physical exercise and benefits in mobility and independent movement.
Bicycles and helmets will be provided, but if children have their own bikes they are encouraged to bring them.
Parents must remain onsite with children for the duration of each session.
Children must be able to walk independently to take part in this programme.
Limited places are available on this programme and pre-registration is essential.
The cost of this programme is €15 per child and is heavily subsidised by Monaghan Sports Partnership.
