About this event
Monaghan Sports Partnership is delighted to announce that we will be running a 5-week inclusive cycling programme for children with a disability aged 5-13 years.
The programme will run from Thursday April 28th until Thursday 2nd June * at 4:30pm each day and will take place at te Peace Link Sports Centre on an enclosed area.
(*Please note that there will be no session on Thursday 19th May)
This programme will be delivered by Bike Green who have extensive knowledge and experience of delivering cycling programmes to children with disabilities.
This programme will prove invaluable for the children taking part, providing a great source of physical exercise and benefits in mobility and independent movement.
Bicycles and helmets will be provided, but if children have their own bikes they are encouraged to bring them.
Parents must remain onsite with children for the duration of each session.
Children must be able to walk independently to take part in this programme.
Limited places are available on this programme and pre-registration is essential.
If, before any daily session you or your child are feeling unwell or feel like you may be developing some symptoms associated with not only the Covid-19 but attributed to other illnesses we ask you to please refrain from attending the session.
The cost of this programme is €15 per child and is heavily subsidised by Monaghan Sports Partnership.
