About this event

Targeted at Assistant Professor Programme

Industry Partnerships - building and maintaining relations with partners.

The objective of this Master Class is to introduce Academics and those conducting research to the industry support functions available at Trinity’s Research and Innovations Office.

The Master Class will discuss the role of industry in funding research, the importance of successful relationship management and focus on the requirements needed to successfully access industry-funding programmes in Ireland.

Established funding programmes will be highlighted, application requirements reviewed, and their key benefits compared. Consideration for on-going management commitments, programme impact on resources and the wider role that industry partnerships can play in an individual’s research portfolio will be discussed.

The team from OCPKE will also highlight some information on Consultancy, with some signposting around this area included, we will devote a full session to the topic of Consultancy separately a little later in the year.
