This free event will introduce Entrepreneurs, Designers, Marketers on how to use the latest techniques from Behaviour Economics, Psychology, & Neuroscience on how to build compelling and effective online and offline businesses.

In today's competitive business environment, good marketing either builds or breaks your business. This will show you how to bake Persuasive Design into your business design/model.

Designing for Persuasion helps you understanding how to design your user experience to be more persuasive, it goes beyond functionality, usability, aesthetics and presentation. It covers the techniques used by successful companies and organisation be it amazon or a restaurant menu.

For Businesses, how persuasive they are is a matter of competitive advantage, for governments its about public welfare. Design is about making this happen elegantly.

Why Design for Persuasion?

In the last century, people have tried to codify these techniques, persuasive behaviours, hacks.

The various disciplines and sciences have tried to understand the principles and patterns and the systemise these be it in marketing, psychology, neuroscience, captology, behaviour economics or ux science.

Good design builds human behaviour and traits into the design and to mimic the mental model of the user to make it easier to achieve the desired (system) goal.

Guiding people to make the right choice is about driving behaviour by making the choice/decision (and action) easy (and reducing the friction and cognitive load) such as Amazon’s 1-click, or Alexa or the Dash button to simplify ordering or repeat ordering into a subscription businesses.

5. We film, photograph and (occasionally) live-stream most of our events. By attending this event you accept that you may appear in our photo/video as a member of the audience.
