Event description

Description

International Human Resource Management: the key challenges of global staffing in 21C – a Multinational perspective.

Speaker: Dr Denise Holland

The event will be preceded by our 2018/19 AGM, commencing at 6pm sharp

It has never been more important for multinational enterprises (MNEs) to be competitive in the global marketplace. International human resource management considers all issues related to the management of people in an international context. The key challenge is how can these firms manage their geographically dispersed workforce in order to leverage their HR resources for both local and global competitive advantage and at the same time balance the social, political & economic contexts with the context of HQ. This session will also address the key role of MNEs in transmitting capital, knowledge, ideas, & value systems across borders.
