International PKU Day

Celebration of International PKU Day Social evening with low protein buffet meal hosted by PKU Association of Ireland (PKUAI) on Thursday 28 June, 2018

PKUAI are delighted to be hosting their inaugural social evening celebrating International PKU Day - Thursday 28th June, from 7.30 pm at the Clayton Airport Hotel

The inventor of newborn screening, Dr Robert Guthrie was born June 28th, 1916. Come together to celebrate Dr Guthrie's amazing achievement, enjoy a full low protein buffet meal, meet new and old PKU friends and hear from our guest speakers, followed by DJ and dancing!

The PKU Association of Ireland is a voluntary patient association, we exist to support those with PKU and their families. The cost of holding events such as this are all met by donations. We do not receive any government grants. Therefore we kindly request that you register your attendance and pay a €10 fee (along with €1.09 for eventbrite) to help cover the costs.

Staying over

For those who would like to stay over the night in the Clayton, please ring the Clayton's reservations team on 01 8711000 and quote PKU Association to avail of our set rate.

Single €139.00, Twin/ Double €149.00, Superior room +€20.00, Executive rooms + €40.00

Rates are quoted per room per night on bed & breakfast basis. Rates are non-commissionable. A debit/ credit card is required on confirmation of the booking. Cancellation 2pm the day prior to arrival for all confirmed booking. Any no-shows or late cancellations will be charged in full for the duration of their stay.
