About this workshop:
This workshop will include:
• An introduction to Science, Technology, Engineering and Maths (STEM) in Early Learning and Care (ELC) settings
• A consideration of the types of materials and resources that can support STEM
• An exploration of the language of STEM in children's play- discussing, speculating and thinking aloud
• Examples for babies, toddlers and pre-schoolers
This workshop will be delivered by Zoom Video Conferencing (however future training/events may be delivered via other secure video conferencing platforms, such as Skype for Business or Microsoft Teams).
Following this introductory session, there will be another event which will support the development and use of STEM in the outdoor learning environment in ELC settings.

- If this criteria does not apply to you your booking may be cancelled.
- Maximum booking of 2 people per service.
- Booking is on a first come first served basis.
- Places are limited to 25 attendees due to the nature of the training.
