Introduction to Family History

More time on your hands? Now is the perfect time to get started on your family history!

South Dublin Libraries presents a series of genealogy talks with Fiona Fitzsimons of the Irish Family History Centre every Wednesday evening for 6 weeks, beginning on 13th May at 7:00pm.

The talks will cover everything you need to know about starting your research, including Civil and Church Records, Census, Griffith’s Valuation, cemetery records and more.

These talks will be delivered online via Zoom.

This session focuses specifically on Newsprint. If you wish to attend the other genealogy talks, you must register for each talk separately on Thursday mornings following each class from 10am.

A link to join the Zoom session will be sent to you on the morning of the event.

Please note: A valid email address is required to register for this genealogy session. South Dublin Libraries will send a Zoom invitation to your email address at 10am on the morning of the event to enable you to attend the session.
