Join Nessa from Rediscover Furniture for this Introduction to Furniture Restoration Workshop! Learn some top tips on how to date your furniture and how to identify the finish used (e.g wax, lacquer, etc) in order to know how to best care for it. We will also be covering the various techniques of cleaning antique furniture and also methods of reviving certain finishes and, time allowing, how to carry out minor repairs.
It is not compulsory but you are welcome to bring along your own small piece of furniture for cleaning and advice. All equipment will be provided on the day.
